End of an Era

The decade that brought us the GameCube, Xbox, PS2, and GameBoy Advance has come to an end.
If you want to get technical the N64 and the PS1 were laid to rest in this decade too.
The SNES is fixing to be the next NES, aka the console that “retro gamer” wannabes (like myself with the NES) will play, if it hasn’t become it already.

Review: “Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales” (Nintendo DS)

The slogan used by Square Enix to promote Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales in North America was “You Can’t Judge Book By It’s Cover”. Whether referencing the nature of the story, it’s protagonist or the initial hesitation one may have in trying this childish-looking (which is too often synonymous with “poorly made”) title, Chocobo Tales does indeed show that there awaits much enjoyment within the confines of it’s colorful packaging for those willing to give it a chance.
